Manifestation has become a spiritual buzz word over the last few years. The Law of Attraction simply says that you attract into your life whatever you think about. It is in fact your emotions that manifest the details of your life. We think we know what we want, but do we feel the same way about it?
A client of mine, Charlotte (not her real name), told me she didn't believe in manifestation. She was just turning forty-one. She had always wanted a family and children, and at this point in her life she was fearful that she might never meet the right man to be the father of her children. I asked her to close her eyes and visualize herself with her husband and two small children. Charlotte smiled as she did this; I then told her they were shopping in a supermarket. Her face fell. I asked her how she felt now. “Terrified,” she replied. Charlotte had come from a large family; she had seen her mother struggle. Although her hormones and her thoughts told her she wanted a family, the fear of becoming like her mother was blocking her meeting the man that would bring about a happy family.
Despite your conscious desires, manifestation revolves around our inner feelings. By healing our view of your past, and shifting your mental and emotional perspective around past events, we can move through what we fear into a vibration of love, which is the strongest of the manifesting emotions.
The law of attraction works at its best when it comes to relationships. No, there isn’t extra power in the desire to find love over the desire for financial security, but because relationships can’t be controlled, we can’t fix them with logic or planning. The reason you can’t control relationships? They involve another person’s free will. With that in mind, never use manifestation to interfere with someone else’s free will. Send out the desire for love, but not from one particular person you have in mind. The universe just might have someone even better waiting in the wings. www.intuitivelovers.com
